A Week of Play

How do we bridge the gap between strategic ambitions and behavioural changes? How do we successfully lead strategic transformations across matrix organisations? How do we build trust and overcome organisational resistance? How do we handle cultural and personal differences when leading high performance teams?

For 10 years, Workz has gathered thought leaders and top practitioners for the annual A Day of Play event that combined great networking with intensive workshops and inspiring cases on different aspects of change, leadership and learning. In 2019 we are happy to announce that A Day of Play will be expanded into A Week of Play. Running from January 29 to February 1, we open our office in downtown Copenhagen to a string of engaging workshops and inspirational talks.

FLEXIBLE AND INTIMATE

We have designed a highly flexible format allowing participants to combine their own program and join the sessions that are most relevant for them. You can either participate for one or more full-days, or you can choose to only join selected sessions during the week. Each workshop is scheduled twice so that you can pick the time slot that works best for you. All sessions are informal with room for open discussions and knowledge sharing, and we have chosen to limit the size of each workshop to ensure a high degree of intimacy and involvement.     

ENGAGING WORKSHOPS... 

At Workz, we believe in the importance of involvement, and we are especially intrigued by how game-based approaches can accelerate learning, motivation and behavioural changes. That is why we design the workshops at A Week of Play 2019 around four of our award-winning leadership simulations – Wallbreakers®, Bridgebuilders®, Gamechangers® and Playmakers®.  

The workshops combine engaging gameplay and inspirational cases with reflections and discussions on topics like leading strategic transformations, overcoming organisational resistance, establishing trust, handling cultural differences, building high performance teams and navigating in international matrix organisations.

...AND INSPIRATIONAL TALKS OVER LUNCH       

In addition to the workshops, we invite you to join four inspirational talks. The talks are combined with networking lunches and cover the following themes; Change communication and the leader as storyteller, Leading for motivation and performance, Design principles for leadership academies & programs, and Leadership in the matrix organisation.
