Project manager with strong people skills

Do you see yourself working in a dynamic environment with ambitious consultants and prominent stakeholders in large corporations?

Do you like to coordinate efforts and be the one in charge of the game plan? Can you stay focused and keep the project team energised when your plan meets reality and the unforeseen happens?

Then this may very well be a job for you!

We are currently looking for a project manager to support our team of consultants. Our projects revolve around the ‘people’ side of change management in large organisations. This includes change communication, involvement, learning and leadership development.

As project manager at Workz, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams of change consultants, content developers and graphic designers in projects for large organisations across different industries.

Typically, projects range from large change campaigns (strategy roll-outs), through shorter events (workshops and summits), to the development of stand-alone deliverables (learning games and training tools). We highly value a go-getter mindset which, in our company, is worth 10 times more than any project management certificate.

  • Has extensive  project management experience, and for whom taking responsibility is second nature.

  • Can play an active role in creating the best solutions for our clients but does not need to be ‘centre stage’ all the time.

  • Is organised and works actively and continuously to keep affairs in order – using project management tools and creating their own when the situation calls for it.

  • Is comfortable managing larger 6-12-months projects as well as small quick-and-dirty projects.

  • Enjoys dealing with people in the intersection between client needs, innovative ideas and the harsh realities of budgets and timelines.

  • Knows how to navigate between the needs of internal and external stakeholders.

  • Is a strong communicator in English, and, preferably, also in Danish.

  • Have international experience and speak languages other than Danish and English.

  • Have experience with running projects within a corporate setting or within a creative industry.

  • Have experience with sales or negotiation.

  • Have worked as a consultant and/or is open to improving your consulting skills.

  • Have experience with learning games and simulations.

  • Have a relevant academic background, perhaps within HR, psychology, communication or business.

  • To be part of a dedicated and diverse team that helps some of the largest and most interesting Scandinavian and international companies succeed with strategic change.

  • To be traveling in Denmark and internationally.

  • To meet great people and interesting organisations across a wide spectrum of industries and countries.

  • To work in a busy company, but where there is also time to prioritise friends, family and hobbies.

  • To be met with high expectations but also with trust and autonomy.

  • We are located in the centre of Copenhagen right by the King’s Gardens in an awesome old house that used to belong to a nobleman.

  • We are busy and are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. So do not hesitate to contact us.

  • The job is full-time and pay will depend on qualifications.
