In 2009, Coop Nonfood launched a new set of values. After half a year, the management wanted to revitalise them within the company.
Coop Nonfood asked Workz to help design an employee workshop focusing on how the values help shape organisational culture.
Based on the wishes of Coop Nonfood, we developed an involving process where the participants explored the values and made them their own. We gave the participants a chance to work with the values and discuss their effect on everyday work-life.
Workz have given us several tools and ideas that are indeed useable in our coming work with our value processes
During the day, the participants first acknowledged their contribution to the values. They then dealt with barriers and solutions to getting the values in play through the process tool Solution Map™. Following a theatre warm-up, they acted out the values in a network roleplaying exercise using the game Connected™.
The managers and the employees worked together on integrating the values and at the end of the intense day everybody committed themselves to helping with the implementation of one or more solutions within the next two months.
